
A TOTAL of 100 Filipino workers were repatriated from Bahrain on New Year’s day as part of ongoing initiatives by the Philippines government to assist its distressed nationals abroad.
“This New Year, our Middle East mission ends as we return to Manila together with 100 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from Bahrain,” Foreign Affairs Under-Secretary for Migrant Workers Sarah Lou Arriola posted on her Twitter account.
“This Department of Foreign Affairs(DFA)-facilitated repatriation was made possible by the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain.”
