A Bahrain resident, who went missing while travelling back to Kerala on a short break, may have tragically fallen to his death from a train moments after chatting with his wife, investigators believe.
The body of 43-year-old Indian expatriate Abdul Hameed was found caught up in fishing nets on the banks of the River Pallikara in a town about 40km from his home in Pamburuthy, Kannur.
Local police believe the man, who owned a building materials store in Jidhali, may have plunged to the ground as the train crossed a bridge.
