A SERIES of events are planned to boost tourism as part of government plans that includes opening up nine new hotels by the year end.
The events include special tours to explore Bahrain’s iconic suqs and explore the kingdom’s rich cultural, religious and trading heritage through events such as ‘Gold Manama’ and ‘Ramadan Nights’ in April.
In addition, a series of other entertainment events has also been lined up, including ‘Beach Season’ and a culinary festival which will be held next month.
Details were revealed during the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) board meeting chaired by Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani.
