A MAN who was jailed for five years for throwing acid on his wife and disfiguring her has lost his final appeal.
The 42-year-old Bahraini defendant was initially jailed for two years by the High Criminal Court in September last year.
In the attack on January 24 last year, the 39-year-old Bahraini victim sustained multiple burns caused by a corrosive chemical on her face, neck and hands in addition to cuts and bruises.
