The Supreme Council for Women has issued a report marking the International Women’s Day.
The report highlights the progress made by Bahraini women in terms of economic participation during the past decade of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2013-2022).
It’s part of the Council’s work with specialised partners to finalise the implementation of a ten-year assessment programme and action plan for the next phase to ensure the sustainability of family stability and cohesion and provide equal opportunities to achieve gender balance and raise the level of women’s participation in national development.
