THE ‘queen’ of Arabic music, Ahlam Al Shamsi, will perform live at the Al Dana Amphitheatre, Sakhir, on May 3.
The Emirati singer who was raised in Bahrain has released 13 albums over her quarter-century musical career and has been a judge in MBC’s Arab Idol since its premiere in 2011.
Known for her distinctive melodic voice, Ahlam has performed to sell-out crowds across the world, amassing legions of fans in both the US and UK.
“After the recent performances by Hussain Al Jassmi, Russell Peters and Kings of Leon, we’re delighted to add another star name to our growing roster of world-class talent entertainment for the 2022 season,” said Al Dana Amphitheatre chief executive Shane Chalmers.
