Hold majlises and ghabgas outdoors

CITIZENS and residents have been urged to host majlises and ghabgas outdoors during the Holy Month.

The National Taskforce to Combat Covid-19 also called on people to wear face masks while gathering indoors. Elderly and those with chronic diseases have been requested to avoid ghabgas and Ramadan majlises.

People have also been advised to:

* Use disposable cutlery and avoid sharing food on the same plate.

* Disinfect surfaces periodically, especially in places where the possibility of contact is high, such as door handles, dining tables and seat cushions.

* Periodically sanitise toilets, distribute hand sanitisers and place them in prominent areas.
