Bahrain is expected to face scattered rains, strong gusts and high waves with rising dust in some areas today and tomorrow, an official source at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s Meteorological Directorate said.
Rapid changes in temperature affecting the Arabian Peninsula and Gulf region annually between March-end and mid-May began a few days ago in some northern and central regions.
The active northerly winds will continue in the coming days, with increasing speed becoming strong on Sunday and Monday, and maximum temperatures will range in the mid-30s, he added.
Members of the public and seafarers are urged to be cautious during weather fluctuations and get the latest weather news and forecasts through official channels.
