The kingdom’s leading hypermarket kicked off a grand festival to begin preparations for India’s upcoming Independence Day, on August 15.
The festival features a range of Indian delights including basmati rice, premium buffalo meat, poultry and processed foods. Biryani, machboos and guzi were also prepared, alongside Indian rice.
‘The Great Indian Festival’ is being organised by LuLu Hypermarket Bahrain, in collaboration with Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority of India (APEDA).
