Rohini Sunderam is a Canadian of Indian origin who calls both Halifax, NS as well as Bahrain, home. She is a semi-retired advertising copywriter rediscovering the joys of writing. Her book, Corpoetry, is a collection of light-hearted poems, satirizing corporate life. Two other books include a romantic story Desert Flower under the pen-name Zohra Saeed and a novella: Five Lives One Day in Bahrain, (all previously published by Ex-L-Ence Publishing, now self-published). She recently published Twelve Roses For Love, a slender collection of stories about love in many forms. Her poems have appeared in several anthologies and publications including Dilliwali (Publisher Busra Alvi Razzak), Quesadilla & Other Adventures (2019), The Society of Classical Poets’ Journals VII & VIII. A short story was shortlisted in The Atlantis Short Story Contest (2013) published by Expanded Horizons, (2018). A CNF entry was longlisted in the WOW Women on Writing CNF Essay contest Q4 2020; and later another entry in their Flash Fiction contest made the long list, Winner: Oapschat, U.K 2014; The Missouri Review, Fall edition, 2022.
