Dots and Lines exhibition opening night

Popular Bahraini artist Mohammed Taha’s latest exhibition of his work entitled ‘Dots and Lines’ opened this evening.

The pieces will remain on display for one month as part of the Art at the Harbour series of exhibitions staged at Harbour Gate, on the ground floor of the Bahrain Financial Harbour.

The collection includes a talking point artwork of a beauty and the beast interpretation, with a Spanish dancer in a stunning red dress contrasting the blood oozing from a stricken bull suffering from wounds inflicted by a matador.

The acrylic on canvas is priced at BD1,500.

Another piece which captured the audience featured camels, valued at BD1,000.

Among the guests on the opening night was British ambassador Roddy Drummond.

Mr Tala, who regularly holds art workshops, also lecturers and teaches young orphans the basics of art and recently helped create a mural to assist autistic children at the RIA Institute.
