A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at Lulu Hypermarket Juffair Mall to inaugurate and celebrate the start of an Ethiopian Business and Cultural Week.
The Minister of Culture for Ethiopia Bizunesh Meseret and Eskadar Girmay, honorary consul for Ethiopia, were welcomed by Mohamed Kaleem, regional director of Lulu Hypermarket Bahrain.
Celebrity Chef Yohanis took to the stage to prepare traditional Ethiopian cuisine to an appreciative audience.
There were also kiosks open featuring Ethiopian leather fashion items and live coffee roasting displays.
