Special measures have been announced to ensure the safety of all spectators, teams and staff as Bahrain gears up to host the 2020 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix later this month.
The procedures were announced as part of efforts by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus ahead of the race scheduled to be held at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir from March 19 to 22.
The measures include screening procedures on entry, specialist medical facilities onsite, enhancing sanitation at BIC, additional hand-washing stations, information points for fans, as well as specific medical protocols to manage any suspected cases of Covid-19.
