Civil Service Bureau president Ahmed Al Zayed has announced the activation of work from home in ministries, agencies and government institutions, starting from Sunday, GDNonline reported today.
This will be done in accordance with the levels of emergency and what is required by labour authorities to be a maximum of 50 per cent of the number of employees, provided that employees perform their functions alternately between work from home and at the workplace among themselves for two weeks.
This excludes all non-administrative functions in vital government agencies determined by the Civil Service Bureau in coordination with government agencies.
Mr Al Zayed said this will done by taking into account that services provided to citizens and residents are not affected to be affected.
It comes in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister.
