Special hotlines have been set up by Bahrain’s main business body to assist traders affected by the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) said yesterday that the hotline and WhatsApp numbers were set up to assist members and businessmen.
The hotline numbers will operate round the clock and they are 35994444, 35666604, and 35666601, while the WhatsApp contact is 17380000.
“The move comes to develop communication methods between the chamber and the business community in order to strengthen the levels of protection in these extraordinary circumstances witnessed by Bahrain and the preventive measures taken to face Covid-19,” said the BCCI in a statement.
Meanwhile, the BCCI also announced reducing working hours for mothers by two hours starting from tomorrow for two weeks. The decision aims to assist mothers working in the BCCI in light of the suspension of all private and public schools.
