Runaway 'free visa' workers decision

An urgent proposal to give runaway “free visa” expatriate workers a grace period without facing penalties was approved by MPs today, reports the GDN's Mohammed Al A’ali.

The proposal aims to combat the spread of Covid-19 since the violating workers come in contact with people in residences and workplaces.
