Up to 70 per cent of public sector employees will be allowed to work remotely starting from Sunday (April 5), GDNonline reported this afternoon.
Civil Service Bureau (CSB) president Ahmed Al Zayed revealed that this decision follows directives issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
Mr Al Zayed stated that up to 70 per cent of public employees at ministries, authorities and government associations will work from home starting Sunday until further notice while taking into account work requirements and quality of service provided to citizens and residents.
