Contact tracing underway after man tests positive during random testing



Contact tracing is underway after a Bahraini man tested positive amidst random screenings for the coronavirus, reports the GDN's Ghazi Alshehabi.
The Health Ministry said that the 40-year-old man, who been designated as case 505, tested positive as part of a campaign to obtain random samples from the community.
Contact tracing is still ongoing to uncover who the man has come in touch with.
The ministry also said that the man has no relevant travel history to speak of.
Earlier it was revealed that 29 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Bahrain today.
According to the latest statistics, there are 286 active cases, of which three remain in critical condition.
One more person has also been discharged from isolation and treatment facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 382.
Twenty-two of the cases were from citizens who arrived from Iran, four cases from other countries, and three cases through contact with existing cases.
