FORTY-NINE more foreign workers have tested positive for Covid-19, reports GDNonline's Raji Unnikrishnan.
This takes the day’s total number of positive cases to 96.
According to the Health Ministry, the men have been moved to treatment and isolation facilities after undergoing the necessary laboratory tests.
Earlier in the day, 47 new cases were reported, of which 45 were migrant workers.
The remaining two people contracted the virus from abroad.
Meanwhile, of the 572 active cases, four are in critical condition.
The total number of people who have recovered and have been discharged from treatment and isolation centers reached 558, while the total number of people tested in the country reached 63,973.
