The Health Ministry has announced 161 new cases of Covid-19, of which 156 are among migrant workers, GDNonline reported this afternoon.
The other three cases contracted the virus by coming in contact with a positive case, while two have arrived from abroad.
The ministry also announced 54 recoveries today.
The ministry said that the new cases among labourers were detected as part of 3,581 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
There have now been seven reported deaths.
