A private hospital that was shut down last year has been reopened as a Covid-19 care unit, GDNonline reported today.
The International Hospital Bahrain, located off Budaiya Highway, will be dedicated to treating positive cases of the virus.
Supreme Council for Health chairman Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and other officials visited the premises that is ready to receive patients.
The opening follows approval of a parliamentary proposal forwarded to the Cabinet.
