Eight people received fines of up to BD5,000 for breaking self-quarantine rules and violating regulations in place to combat Covid-19, reports GDNonline's Noor Zahra.
The defendants, who appeared before the Lower Criminal Court today, were told to stay at home after coming into contact with people who tested positive for the virus. However, they went out in public.
