Bahrain registered 150 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday, the GDN reported, taking the total number of active cases in the country to 1,781, with one patient remaining in a critical condition.
Of Monday’s cases, 101 were expatriate workers, 48 contacts of active cases and one arrived from abroad as part of the government’s International Covid-19 Repatriation Programme (ICRP).
The Health Ministry revealed that another 26 people left treatment and isolation facilities, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,744.
Meanwhile, another group of Bahraini citizens have been evacuated from Iran. They arrived yesterday on a Gulf Air flight as part of the ICRP, with the ministry adding that the evacuation process incorporated all preventive medical protocols.
