Another 85 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Bahrain, GDNonline reports.
Of these, 68 were expat workers, while 17 were contacts of local active cases, said the Health Ministry. This takes the total number of cases today to 167.
Meanwhile, another five more patients have recovered and left treatment and isolation facilities, taking the total number to 2,070.
The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 2,863 with two patients in a critical condition.

Why, with all the current precautions in place, are the number of positive cases going up? We have had restrictions since February, but the number of positives increases. Other countries with restrictions have seen a drop in positive cases. Could someone please explain the situation?
