His Majesty King Hamad praised society's collaborative efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), GDNonline's Reem Al Daaysi reports.
His Majesty addressed citizens and residents through a speech broadcast on BTV today where he wished Muslims a blessed Eid.
"We got used to receiving people from all governorates in our majlis during this time of every year," he said.
"Our current circumstances have led to use communicating with you remotely but I assure you no matter how far the distance is our hearts remain connected under all circumstances.
"We look forward to our life returning back to normal as soon as possible.
"We express our sincere and deep gratitude for the collective efforts to adhere to precautionary measures to combat this pandemic and supporting efforts exerted by the national team to combat covid-19.
"We will ensure that these valiant efforts are deservingly rewarded.
"Bahrain's people have showed the most incredible examples of loyalty, humanity and co-operation in this crisis."
