Seventy-two new active cases of the coronavirus have been registered in Bahrain today, GDNonline's Mohammed Al A’Ali reports.
The Health Ministry announced that they included 47 expatriate workers and 25 contacts of active cases.
There are now 3,890 active Covid-19 cases with three patients in a 'critical' condition.
Altogether 2,753 patients have been discharged after treatment, including 113 today. The number of tests carried in the country has reached 228,573.
Bahrain earlier today announced the death of its 12th virus victim, a Bahraini 67-year-old man who had also been suffering from underlying and chronic illnesses.
