Ninety-two more new active Covid-19 cases were registered in Bahrain this evening, GDNonline's Mohammed Al A’Ali reports.
The Health Ministry said they include 76 expatriate workers, 13 contacts of active cases and three travellers from abroad.
The number of active cases has risen to 3,973 out of which three patients remain in a 'critical' condition.
Earlier today morning 72 other active cases were announced by the ministry. Out of them were 47 expatriate workers and 25 contacts of active cases.
Altogether 2,762 patients have been discharged from treatment facilities, including nine this evening and 113 earlier in the day.
A total of 230,188 Covid-19 tests have been conducted.
Bahrain today also reported its 12th death from the virus. The latest victim was a Bahraini 67-year-old man who had also been suffering from underlying and chronic illnesses.
