Twenty-eight more active Covid-19 cases were registered in Bahrain this evening, GDNonline reports.
The Health Ministry revealed that the new patients included 20 expatriate workers and eight individuals who had contracted the virus from local cases.
It took the total number of active cases today to 228.
Eight patients remain in a critical condition.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in February there have now been 4,241 cases recorded and 12 tragic deaths.
Following successful treatment 2,931 patients have been discharged.
The authorities have also carried out 243,031 tests and continue to do so..
