A further 151 cases of Covid-19 have been announced today, GDNonline's Raji Unnikrishnan reports.
Of these 96 were migrant workers, 48 from contacts of existing cases and seven have travelled from abroad.
The number of active cases has reached 4,312, of which 27 are receiving treatment, said the Health Ministry. Nine patients remain in a 'critical' condition.
Another 147 people have been discharged from treatment and isolation facilities, bringing the total number of patients to have recovered since the outbreak to 3,715.
Twelve people have died after catching the virus.
