The Health Ministry announced 76 additional new cases, bringing today’s tally to 240, GDNonline's Ghazi Alshehabi reports.
Of these, 45 were migrant workers, 30 were local contacts and one case was travel related.
This brought the total number of active cases to 4,306, with 30 patients receiving treatment with seven remaining in a 'critical' condition.
The Ministry also announced the recovery of 92 additional patients, bringing the total number of those discharged from treatment centres to 4,096 and making it 223 recoveries in one day.
Twelve patients have died after contracting Covid-19.
