Twenty-six new Covid-19 cases were registered in Bahrain today, GDNonline reports.
The Health Ministry announced that they included 14 among migrant workers and 12 among those who came into close contact with active cases.
This takes the total number of active cases to 4,397 of which eight patients are in a 'critical' condition.
Twenty-six of the active cases are currently receiving treatment.
The ministry also announced a further 166 recoveries. In total 4,753 patients have been discharged from quarantine and treatment facilities.
Fourteen people have lost their lives after contracting the virus.
