A further 141 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Bahrain tonight.
Of these, 105 were among expatriate workers, 34 were contacts with active cases and two were travel-related.
With the new patients, the total number of active cases now stands at 4,414. There are 4,405 'stable' and 24 receiving specialist treatment. Nine people remain critically ill.
The ministry also announced that 22 more patients have recovered after treatment, with the total number of patients being discharged reaching 4,938.
To date, the virus has claimed 14 lives.
