The Health Ministry has announced 268 new cases of Covid-19 in Bahrain today, GDNonline reports.
Of these, 156 were expat workers, 106 were contacts of active cases and six were travel-related.
Meanwhile, 204 people have recovered after treatment and care at specialist facilities, taking the total number of patients discharged to 5,142.
There are currently 25 people receiving treatment from a current 4,476 cases and 10 patients remain critical in a critical condition.
As reported earlier, a 53-year-old expat became the 15th patient to die in Bahrain after contracting the virus.
The ministry said that the man had been suffering from underlying health conditions too.
