Seven MPs have been forced into home isolation after coming into close contact with a Covid-19 positive Parliament employee.
Sources told the GDNonline that MPs were in contact with a member of staff in the legal affairs directorate.
They will have to stay in isolation until July 7.
Parliament general-secretariat issued a statement tonight saying that there were no positive cases amongst MPs and they were under home isolation.
"All MPs in close contact with a positive case were negative, legal advisors have undergone tests and are negative," said the statement.
"Two employees have tested positive in Parliament and five employees in close contact are in home isolation.
"We are following the matter closely in accordance with health rules and regulations."
